| Football is one of my greatest loves in life. I have been following it for
almost ten years. I know what most people think, us girls only go to watch the legs
running around on the pitch, but its much more than that to me. Saturdays just would not be the same without it! Now you are probably wondering which team I support, well it would be none other than Colchester United. I know they are not a fashionable team to support but there is just as much to cheer and jeer about at Layer road! and they don't all earn £50,000 a week!

| I really started to watch them in the 1991/92 season. That is probably the
best season I have seen in the time I have watched them. That was the season the team did the double, the G.M. Vauxhall Conference title and the F.A. Trophy at Wembley. They were invincible, well almost!

| Since then we have had two more Wembley finals to cheer about. The
Autoglass cup and the third division play off final, no prizes for guessing which was
better!

| The new season is almost over. The transfer markets buzzing everywhere
except Colchester. I've
watched all but a couple matches and we're stuck in the middle of the
Nationwide second division

| I know that there must be some Leeds United supporters out there too and
I'd love to here from any of you, so please contact me. Living so far away, we don't see too much of Leeds. I do watch all the televised games, read the magazine and buy loads of merchandise. It will be great to see them win the Champions league.
