This is my latest fish that I caught a few days ago at a lake in Colchester, It was part of a four fish catch all of them in double figures.This is all part of my testing of the new mainline boilies Assassin-8 and the way it is going I will be using them this season for definite as I have used them on two sessions and have caught 6 carp all of them were in double figures, again caught over a carpet of trout pellets. |

This is a picture of me putting back the second biggest fish of the day it weighed in at 13lbs 10oz. It was caught on the same method as all the other carp a simple 2oz Inline leger rig to 9 inches of 15lb braid to a size 6 'series' 2 fox hook tied using the knottless knot and the bait was a 18mm Assassin-8 boilie over a bed of trout pellets fished close to some trees that over hang the water. |

Here is a picture of all the fish
together. This was the best days fishing that I have had in a long time catching 4 double
figure fish and loosing one as well. I hope every day this year is going to be as good as
that one. I just which I hadn't worn that hat to take all the pictures with. |
