your Regentone radio could be either an A121 or A133 you can tell by the valve range. A121 has 7S7,7B7,7C6,7C5,and 7Y4 and was released in September 1949. A133 has ECH42,EAF42,or EF42,EBC41,EL41 and EZ41 and was released in August 1953 at a price of 19gns including £4 16s 11d purchase tax I also have one of the A133's good little radio.

Good evening Mike and family, just surfed onto your site - excellent. I too hail from good old Yorkshire, Brafdord but now settled in Skipton. 21 Apr 76 the day you married was the day I joined the Air Force - signed the dotted line in Leeds - spooky coincidence ??. Thanx for the link to the Varley Genealogy site, I traced my ancestors back 8 generations, they are all from Yorkshire area. We are very impressed by the lay out of your site and onlycame upon it perchance. Nice pond, my mother has two in her garden with a collection of fish and frogs to match. Why are you selling the bike? Are you getting another. we do alot of cycling mostly oon Sustrans cycle paths. We also do a fair bit of camping. My mother has just come back for Menorca and she had a good time as well. We may think of Tunisia this year but at the moment Tenerife seems favourite. When will your photos of Tunisia be available? Hello! Yes, me too! I searched the seb for Varley and found you guys! Seem like a fun bunch - must be in the genes! I'm in my final year at Oxford University (age 21), studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics - soon to enter the world of finance. My parents live in Trinidad (W.I), and I have an older brother (Aaron - 23) and a younger sister (Aisha - 14).
