Jaws the giant ghost carp At around 6lbs

The carp just keep on growing.

Spring saw many of last years  goldfish venture out from the safety of the plants.

Yet again, we've loads of tiny carp and goldfish.

Living near the coast and on a tidal estuary, we've always had problems with mosquitos breeding in our rainwater barrel. Solved this by adding a few small goldfish.

The mosquitos don't stand a chance and we're much happier.

Nothing survives the pond. If the fish don't get them, then the frogs will. Flies, wasps and bees. Flying ants are the most popular. They land on the lilies to rest and don't see the fish hiding under the leaves until its too late.
